The hot weather we're experiencing in Gifu is hurting my productivity this week, but I did manage to overhaul the "Important Notices" widget.

As promised in the last dev diary, I spent the week implementing class, event and program duplication to make planning future lessons easier, and I also overhauled the calendar feature.

Progress has been a bit slower recently due to my teaching schedule... and time spent browsing the Steam Summer Sale for video game bargains! I did find time to work on two important areas however.

I've thrown myself into coding this last couple of weeks and have managed to implement both historical lesson records and billing records. These are completely unaffected by changes to course names, textbooks, pricing and other settings.

I recently attended the 5th Annual InTogether School Owners EXCHANGE in Gifu. I met a lot of knowledgeable people and a few that showed interest in my Eikaiwa Admin project. So I've decided to start a diary with updates on the current progress. I'll try to do this weekly!

One project I've been working on this year is a wordsearch workbook for Japanese students studying for "Eiken" English exams. This is something I've been wanting to make for ages, and with Gemini's help, I've almost finished the first book.
